No one has to go it alone. For nearly 50 years LifeWorks NW, formerly Tualatin Valley Centers, has helped individuals and families find the support they need. We are a leading non-profit, community-based mental health, addiction and social services agency. Our compassionate staff offers children, families and adults a range of prevention and treatment services – when they need them, wherever they are in life.

Our community’s needs

• Mental health is second to heart disease as a cause of disability and premature death.
• Mental disorders affect more individuals than all forms of cancer.
• In Washington County more than 23,000 children suffer frοm a mental disorder.
• For every $1 spent on alcohol and drug treatment in Oregon, $7 was saved in future costs of law enforcement, corrections, welfare and publicly supported medical treatment.

We believe in being good stewards of your gift. For example, you should know that every gift goes far. We reached more than 15,000 individuals with our programs last year. Additionally, nearly 90 percent of your gift goes directly to those programs — touching the lives of those who need it most.
