Since 1969, SOLV has been developing new and innovative ways to address the pressing problems faced by Oregon. Getting out volunteers in Washington County and across the state to take head-on the problems we now face requires tremendous organizational strength – an expensive proposition that must be sustained over time. That’s why we are doing business like we plan on being here in 50 years. If we are to fund future community improvement projects, we must strengthen our base of individual donors. The money raised through iGiveWhereiLive will help fuel the critical work that lies ahead. SOLV’s plan breaks down like this: People + Tools + Action = Results. Tools – It takes a lot of tools … buying much-needed shovels and other tools for volunteers to restore our degraded watersheds is a top priority. |
People – We need to engage more volunteers who bring a spirit of community, hard work and financial support to every community cleanup or river restoration activity. Action – SOLV’s focus on action is sustained by connecting people with the work that needs to be done and making the connection stronger. Results – Cleaner water. Stronger communities. Better future.
